About this site

Scripturedle is a free, fan-made game for practicing the 100 official LDS seminary Scripture Mastery passages. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Scripture text and references are drawn from the Church's publicly available materials; the game, its design, and its code belong to Scripturedle.

Using Scripturedle

The site is free to use, with no account, sign-up, or payment required. It's provided "as is," with no warranty of any kind — passages, topic tags, and puzzle content are checked for accuracy but may occasionally contain mistakes. Please don't attempt to abuse, scrape at high volume, or disrupt the service for other players. These terms may be updated from time to time as the site changes; continued use after a change means you accept the update.

Privacy

Scripturedle intentionally collects as little as possible:

• Game progress for the Daily Challenge and Practice Mode is kept in a session cookie on Scripturedle's server. It only ever holds your current puzzle state (guesses made, whether you've won) — no name, email, or account is attached to it.
• Stats, theme, difficulty, and Archive progress are stored in your browser's local storage only. They never leave your device and Scripturedle's server never sees them.
• Hosting & reliability logs. Like most web hosts, the infrastructure Scripturedle runs on (Microsoft Azure) automatically logs standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, and page timing) for security and performance monitoring. This isn't used for advertising, profiling, or sold to anyone.
• Ko-fi widget. The optional "Support me on Ko-fi" button embeds a widget from Ko-fi, a separate service with its own privacy policy. Scripturedle doesn't receive any data from it unless you choose to interact with it.

There are no ad networks, no tracking pixels, and no data sold to third parties.
